Transportation Information

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is the closest major airport to the tournament site. Located just 10 miles from the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel (202 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21202), BWI offers the most convenient access for travelers.

  • Distance from Hotel: 10 miles
  • Transportation by USKSF:
    • Transportation requests for Thu (7/23), Fri (7/24) and Mon (7/27) can be made through the USKSF Online Access Portal. Transportation requests MUST be made by June 30, 2026. Transportation requests made after this date will NOT be accepted. The purpose of setting this date is to allow time for scheduling pickups, so please remember to submit transportation requests early!
    • Requests will be processed on a first come first serve basis. The USKSF will determine whether to provide transportation service based on demand. If there isn’t sufficient demand, the USKSF reserves the right to not provide transportation service between BWI and the hotel.
    • We will contact you via email to let you know whether your transportation request can be met and whether the transportation will be provided by a bus service or by volunteers. You should get the confirmation no later than 11:00 pm EST on Sunday, 7/12/2026. If you do not provide your email address, we will not be able to contact you. Any questions regarding transportation can be directed to transportation@usksf.org
    • Transportation to BWI (after the Tournament): All trips to BWI airport will depart from the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. If you are in another hotel, you are responsible for your own transportation to the tournament hotel. You are responsible for using the transportation service at a time that will get you to the airport with sufficient time to check in and clear airport security. Times for arrival vary by airline, but you should plan to arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before your flight. TRAVEL TIME FROM THE TOURNAMENT HOTEL TO THE AIRPORT WILL TAKE LONGER IN RUSH HOUR.
  • Public transportation: 
    • From BWI Airport Terminal, exit the lower level and follow signs to MTA Light Rail station right outside the building. Take the light rail northbound toward Camden Yards / downtown Baltimore. Get off at Camden Yards Stations and walk east about 8 to 10 mins to the tournament hotel.
    • BWI has a free shuttle service to the nearby MARC/Amtrak station. From there, take Amtrak to Penn Station in downtown Baltimore. Walk for 15mins to the tournament hotel.
    • We will not pick you up from the rail or train station. The USKSF will not reimburse you for travel arrangements made on your own.

 

Other options for transportation:

  • Commercial shuttle services (not associated with the USKSF shuttle system) are also available at the airport, cost unknown. The USKSF will not reimburse you for travel arrangements made on your own.
  • Some tournament participants have used Uber and Lyft as an alternative option for transportation. The USKSF will not reimburse you for travel arrangements made via these services.
