Greetings everyone!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers who have shaped our lives and helped
make us who we are today.

I hope you are doing well and preparing for the 2026 USKSF International Tournament.
Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to make this year’s event one of the
most exciting and competitive traditional Chinese martial arts tournaments in the country,
and I’m excited to share a few important updates with you.

First, we will once again host our annual Hall of Fame Banquet on Sunday evening,
following the awards ceremony. We are finalizing the details now, and banquet tickets,
along with the menu, will officially become available on Friday, May 15. Seating is limited
each year, so we encourage everyone to reserve early once registration opens.

Second, after completely selling out our Thursday and Sunday hotel room blocks, the
hotel has agreed to release 25 additional rooms for each night. Similar to last year,
once these rooms are gone, there is no guarantee that additional rooms will be made
available later. If you plan to attend, I recommend not waiting until the last minute to
reserve your room.

Finally, we are excited to announce an important change to our team trophy award. Each
year, we present team awards for Kids, Adults, Lei Tai, and the Grand Champion (Wang
Chueh Jen Cup). In previous years, only advanced divisions counted toward team points.
After careful consideration, we felt that a true team award should recognize the effort and
participation of the entire school — not just advanced competitors.

Beginning this year, ALL divisions will count toward team trophy points!

That means every competitor now plays an important role in helping their school compete
for top honors. Not only will you have the opportunity to test your skills against some of the
best traditional martial artists in the country, but your participation will directly contribute to
your team’s success.

As always, we continue working year-round to improve the tournament experience for our
competitors, judges, and honored guests … our kung fu family. We truly appreciate your
